THOMAS PURDY & HARLEY NELSON
Thomas Purdy & Harley Nelson began dancing together in January 2022, they practice at Matico Dance studio in South East London. Currently the pair live in London and represent England, competing in Standard Ballroom in the Amateur Category.

Both Thomas & Harley have always been surrounded by Dance. Thomas grew up surrounded by dancing and often watched his Grandfather at practice sessions. After listening to the music and watching everyone shuffle around, he thought he would give it a go, and the rest was history. He started competitively competing at the age of 9. Growing up, Harley tried many styles until she stumbled across the world of Ballroom dancing, immediately falling in love. She would attend weekly classes and constantly be dancing. Once she found her first dance partner, she began to take it more seriously and began having lessons independently. Thomas & Harley had already known of each other for some time, but unfortunately, their paths hadn't crossed as they lived 300 miles from each other, until it came to the time where they were both looking for partners at similar times. After a try-out, they immediately knew it was the perfect fit. Now after three years as a couple, they are fortunate enough to spend most of their days doing what they love most; dancing. They are happy to say that they are working towards their goals together and love every moment.
