Freed of London Are Going Eco Friendly

Freed of London officially turned 90 years old this year, but how has a company established in 1929 stayed relevant to this very day? Simple – we aren’t afraid to adapt and move with the times. Change is vital, and we as a company appreciate the importance of understanding current developments – Freed of London, however, do not only take this on board when it comes to our dance shoes.

Freed of London, along with many other people and industries, are making a conscious effort to become a more eco-friendly establishment. Looking out for our environment is currently more important than ever.

We are officially using paper bags in our stores (along with a brand new design) which are recyclable and 100% plastic free. We are also happy to now offer a new ‘bag for life’ which has been custom created in a sturdy canvas material, meaning you can now take Freed with you wherever you go.

Freed of London kept this in mind when our new drinks bottles were being created, and when we decided we wanted to offer reusable bottles to our customers, we knew that Chilly’s was the place to go. Chilly’s is a company that pride themselves on eco-friendly and reusable products, all of which are created and aimed at people with an active lifestyle – making them perfect for Freed of London customers.

The Freed of London leak-proof bottle is metal, meaning it is reusable, environmentally friendly and your drink can stay cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours! The Freed of London logo can be seen alongside this sleek and modern bottle, and best of all it comes wrapped up in 100% recyclable packaging.

On the matter of eco-friendly brands, Dancez and Healthy Seas have come together to create active wear and garments using particular fishing nets (found in the ocean) that contain nylon. We are thrilled to currently be the exclusive London stockists for these innovative and inspiring companies – so keep an eye out because there’s more to come very soon!
