Bournemouth and Danzainfiera

Freed of London love taking part in exhibitions and dance events, it gives us a chance to speak to our wonderful customers face to face and to even see some of them perform! Last week, we headed to Bournemouth for the 2020 UK Open Championships where we set up our stand so we were at the heart of all the action and excitement.

During our time in Bournemouth, we were able meet and say hi to a few of our customers and help them pick out the right shoes for them. We even had the privilege of having former professional dancer Loraine Barry – judge of Dancing with the Stars Ireland – stop by to buy a pair of our comfortable and practical ‘Sorrento’ practice shoes.

We also had the pleasure of seeing some of the most fabulous dancers perform, including the fantastic Freed of London sponsored dancers – a special congratulations to Sylvio Antonio Anselmi and Eleonora Riccardi for coming first place in the UK rising star competition!

Our time in Bournemouth became even more exciting when the wonderful Eugene Katsevman joined us for a photoshoot in preparation for an upcoming Eugene X Freed of London shoe collaboration – more of which will be revealed soon!

The fun doesn’t stop there, we will be making our way to Danzainfiera 2020, located in the beautiful Florence, Fortezza da Basso - it’s an ideal place for dance schools, companies, associations, lessons, shows, competitions and more! Freed of London have always enjoyed taking part in Danzainfiera, and after Bournemouth, we can’t wait to be a part of it all again this coming February.
